Take note that the first study [NRCAN] indicated the sound was coming from the south side of Zug Island [and in that general vicinity].  

Oddly enough….“We note that much of the location box plots over water…”

The purpose of the second study was to pinpoint the source of the hum, but that second study failed to scientifically find an exact source. 

There has been a lot of speculation, but no real answers.
